Find of the Day: 2020 Audi exclusive Merlin Purple R8 V10

words: Bill, photos: Nicholas Martinez, Audi Hampton

One advantage of being cooped up at home is the time to shop online for that one Audi I would love to own…and I may have just found it. While scrolling through numerous ads, a flash of purple caught my eye.

An Audi exclusive Merlin Purple R8…and it’s apparently the only one in the States. Here’s the ad:

2020 Audi R8 · Coupe · Driven 300 miles

•Carbon fiber front spoiler, rocker inlay, and rear diffuser
•Sport seat package with diamond stitching

Currently this is the only Merlin Purple 2020 R8 in the US. It made its debut at the Virginia Beach International Motor Show. Saying that this car stole the show was an understatement. I personally put together Audi’s presentation with our sister dealership in Virginia Beach. Putting together the motor show was a blast and getting to drive such a special car was a bucket list moment. This 2020 R8 is still for sale at my Audi dealership. Having the privilege to see this prestigious work of engineering art is mind blowing at time. If anyone has any questions please feel free to reach out. I have plenty of videos and pictures.

A very special thanks to Nicholas Martinez who sent me the photos when I reached out to him. Also, you have to follow him on Instagram; there’s a photo of him as Lt. Jim Dangle…I’m still laughing. So if you are looking for that one car that will definitely stand out from the crowd, visit Nicholas at Audi Hampton; maybe he will greet you as Lt. Dangle. Find the Audi exclusive R8 HERE or HERE .

I definitely like the R8.

I still definitely DON’T like purple cars. Even R8s.

Reminds me of those purple Corrados back in the day.

I loooooved my Corrado.

But still hated the purple ones. :stuck_out_tongue:
